Men's' Accountability Questions

Below is a list of accountability questions that men may use in meeting with one another.  These can be adapted and used in small groups, one-on-one, or triplets.

Accountability Questions for Men’s Small Groups

When the group senses that it is ready; the following list of questions may serve as a

guide for deepening the relational patterns and helping each other keep their promises.  They come from, Focusing Your Men’s Ministry, by Pete Richardson.

  2. Did you pray for others in this group?

  4. At any time did you compromise your integrity?
  5. What one sin plagued your walk with God this week?
  6. Did you accomplish your spiritual goals this week?
  7. Are you giving to the Lord’s work financially?

  19. In what ways have you launched out in faith since we last met?
  20. In what ways has God blessed you this week?  And what disappointments consumed your thoughts this week?
  21. Did you look at a woman in the wrong way?

  26. What are wrestling with in your thought life?
  27. What have you done for someone else this week?
  28. Are the “visible” you and the “real” you consistent in this relationship?

Remember, these questions are offered only as a guide, not as a standard, and should not be used until the group is ready for them.

Read 2 Samuel 11-12 and make observations about the life of              David and the need we all have to be accountable to one another.              Make your observations below:

  1. Have you been with a woman anywhere this past week that might be seen as compromising?
  2. Have any of your financial dealings lacked integrity?
  3. Have you exposed yourself to any sexually explicit material?
  4. Have you spent adequate time in Bible study and prayer?
  5. Have you given priority time to your family?
  6. Have you fulfilled the mandates of your calling?
  7. Have you just lied to me?
